55 miles one way, 110 miles round trip. I used to call this the Texas Safari. You can see coyotes, javelina, deer, antelope and more. Maybe not as much as before, but it is a quiet lonely road so it’s still possible.

835 miles one way. If we take off late, we stay in Camargo, get up early and we're there around 3pm. If we take off earlier we might stay in Torreon, then 6 hours to Mazatlan. The stretch from Durango to Mazatan crosses the continental divide, 140 miles, 115 bridges and 61 tunnels. Over 9000 ft. elevation. It's said it was like building a highway over 4 Grand Canyons. The Baluarte Bicentennial Bridge is 1,320 feet above the Baluarte River and is the highest bridge in the Western Hemisphere.
